Annor-Yeboah inaugurates more branches of his church

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), Aug. 19, GNA - The Reverend Dr Augustine Annor-Yeboah, Founder and General Overseer of the newly established Christian Praise International Centre (CPIC) at the weekend inaugurated branches of the church in Brong Ahafo with a call on religious leaders to eschew practices that dented their faith in God.

In a sermon at the inauguration of the branch at Dormaa-Ahenkro he expressed concern about the increasing hatred, selfishness, lies, nepotism and blackmailing in some churches and urged church leaders to pursue lasting solutions to such problems to promote religion. Rev Dr Annor-Yeboah, former Chairman of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) International, said his decision to form a new church was to help win more souls.

He appealed to Christians to rededicate themselves to the worship of God and unite, co-operate and exhibit mutual understanding with each other at all times in order to attain salvation.

Inaugurating the branch in Sunyani, Rev Dr Annor-Yeboah called on people in leadership positions to lead exemplary lives for their subordinates to follow.

''Positions in society demand that occupiers live up to their responsibilities and behave as worthy leaders. "If people in responsible positions are imbued with the fear of God and exhibit love for their neighbours, they would not misapply nor misuse public funds.

"If our leaders realize the load of responsibilities placed on their heads they will not dissipate state funds nor indulge in other nation-wrecking activities".
