Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Benard Antwi Bosiako, aka Wontumi says he will never forgive John Dramni Mahama for closing down his company.
According to him, after attempts to get him to support the NDC failed, John Dramni Mahama decided to intimidate him by closing down his company, Hansol Mining Company Limited.
He mentioned that he was engaged in large scale mining like Newmont and other mining companies in the country do but for political reasons, John Dramani Mahama destroyed his concession.
He recalled that during the raid at his concession, some of his workers were killed. He added that the government took 500 of his excavators.
Wontumi said, while speaking in an interview on Metro TV that, the said day was the saddest day in his life because he lost everything he had laboured for his entire life.
“I can never forgive former President Mahama because apart from my mother’s death, another thing that has hurt me so much was closing down of my company in 2013 by John Mahama.
