Philosopher, Kwaku Agyenim Boateng, has expressed worry over how Ghanaians have neglected great potentials like Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka.

He said, that since the launch of Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo's industrial revolution, he has proven his ability and capability to change the economic fortunes of Ghana through his interventions.

He further expresses worry, adding that Ghanaians have not taken any advantage of some products of the Star of Africa that can give the country enough revenues to supplement the government expenditure.

Among some of his inventions are: “His clapping technology” which is one of his hallmarks of using human senses to interface with machines and equipment that can switch on and off many electronic appliances. Others are some electronic devices he invented to ignite the car by “putting your hand on a shirt, wrist watch, wearing a ring” etc.

He is however of the firm conviction that all these electronic devices can give the country a lot of revenue if an investor collaborates with him and produces it for mass commercialization.

BRAVO, KANTANKA, FOR MANUFACTURING “ELECTRONIC ALCOHOL DETECTOR DEVICE” TO CONTROL ROADS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

BY KWAKU BOATENG AGYENIM

An in-depth research into God’s word indicates that: He (God) uses humans as vessels to redeem His nations who were in distress. God used Moses as a human vessel to redeem His nation, Israel, from the tyranny hands of the Pharaohs in Egypt. Likewise, Sampson and David were also used to redeem them from the hands of the Philistines.

Today, the same God of old has endowed some Ghanaians with wisdom to invent some technological products which can indeed help our country in terms of revenue generation. One of them is Kantanka. Since the Star of Africa launched his industrial revolution, he has proved his ability and capability to change the economic fortunes of Ghana through his inventions but we, Ghanaians, have not taken any advantage of some of his products that can give the country enough revenue to supplement the government expenditure.

Among some of his inventions are: “His clapping technology” which is one of his hallmarks to use human senses to interface with machines and equipment that can switch on and off many electronic appliances. Others are some electronic devices he invented to ignite a car by “putting your hand on a shirt, wrist watch, wearing a ring” etc.

All these electronic devices can give the country a lot of revenue if an investor collaborates with him and produces them for mass commercialization. The reason for this write-up is to draw the attention of the government and investors to collaborate with Kantanka so that his inventions will be utilized to bring good fortunes to mother Ghana. One of his electronic devices I want to emphasize is an “electronic alcohol detector device” he manufactured in 2018. The reason for inventing this device according to Kantanka, was to reduce many road traffic accidents.

Kantanka becomes sad when he hears that human lives were lost, people got injured and even became incapacitated and properties damaged as a result of a road traffic accident that occurred through the negligence and carelessness of a drunken driver. This urged him to do something about it hence he invented that device.

This “electronic alcohol detector device” was installed in “Kantanka Otumfuo”, a 4x4 vehicle he manufactured and demonstrated at the Kristo Asafo's 38th Annual Technology Exhibition held at Awoshie in Accra on Sunday, 30th December, 2018. When a drunk driver sits in the car and starts the engine, the electronic device will detect the scent of alcohol in the driver and the engine of the car will cease. If that same driver who has drunk an alcohol was not changed, the car engine would not be able to start. Likewise, if a driver is driving a car and stops on the way to drink alcohol, he would not be able to start the engine again and continue the journey unless a new driver takes over from him. This scientific breakthrough is Kantanka‘s vision to minimize road traffic accidents that are attributed to human error.

During the demonstration, a man was asked to drink alcohol, and after he had drunk the alcohol, he couldn’t start the car engine immediately after he entered it. If indeed government upon government have been able to collaborate and supported Kantanka in his technological inventions, can’t this “electronic alcohol detector device” alone change the fortune of this nation in terms of revenue? There is a saying in Akan that: "AKyea na emmuu y3", which literally means, it has bent but it hasn't broken. Currently, our country, Ghana needs money to survive as a result of the recent global pandemic, therefore I am using this medium to appeal to the government, investors and all stakeholders who have the love of our dear country at heart to go to Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka and discuss with him for a good collaboration to commercialize the “electronic alcohol detector device” for mass production. I think with the love he (Kantanka) has for the country, he will cooperate for that collaboration and partnership. If this deal is struck, Ghana will indeed get more revenue from this product alone than what the country receives from our cocoa, gold etc.

Aside from the financial benefit the country will derive from this investment, many human lives and properties will be saved through the numerous road traffic accidents that occur on our roads across the globe. In view of this, the Star of Africa, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka should be commended for coming out with this laudable initiative.

Among the dignitaries who witnessed the demonstration of the “alcohol electronic detector device” at the event were His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu 11, Asantehene, Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo, Senior Minister, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, some Members of Parliament, Representatives of the security agencies, traditional leaders and the Academia. Bravo, Kantanka, it is my prayer that your God should give you a long life with more energy to do more for Mother Ghana, Africa and the world as a whole. God bless you Kantanka.
