The Apostolic Church of Ghana has inducted new leaders into office, after being elected at the 80th ordinary meeting of the National Council of the Church, in Accra.

The new leaders are Apostle Peter Oko Mankralo, President, Apostle Christian Kwesi Nartey, Vice President and Apostle Alex Kwaku Ofosu, the General Secretary.

Apostle Mankralo, President of the Church, speaking on the theme: "Continuing towards the goal," expressed joy for the election and the induction service.

He said the successful induction ceremony as well as the smooth transition process is a reflection of the church's maturity and a land mark worth emulating by all and sundry.

He said the national election of the church should not be seen as merry making but an occasion to promote oneness, reconciliation and shun negative tendencies which retards progress and development.

He said the new administration would work with selflessness, integrity, objectivity and accountability to propel the church into greater heights in development.

He disclosed that the new administration would be unveiling a four- year strategic plan dubbed: “Vision 2019, to be focused on the development of the church.”

He therefore called on every member of the church to show support and cooperation towards achieving the set targets.

Apostle Mankralo gave the assurance that the operation of the new leaders would be strictly guided by discipline, honesty, urgency and transparency.

He urged all Ministers of God to eschew bribery, corruption and any act of greediness that would hinder prosperous church and nation development.

He also called on members of the church to forge ahead more purposeful, united, visionary, determination, and reconciliation to be able to live in a pragmatic society with good will towards one another.

Apostle Gabriel Ola Olutola, President of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, commended the new leaders for the election and urged them to be guided by God in all their activities.

He said the Apostolic church in Ghana is among the largest of the church's branches across the world and advised the new leaders to continue working in expanding the church and winning more souls for Christ.
