Armed robbers grabbed!!

A group of four armed robbers who claimed to be members of a syndicate operating in the country has been arrested by the Police at Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region, writes Kwame Asare Boadu of the People's Daily Graphic.

They were arrested after they had raided the Elf Petrol Station at Nsoatre and made away with four service pumping equipment worth C2 million.

The robbers who claimed to have robbed a number of filling stations in the Eastern and Ashanti Regions of cash and good before entering the Ashanti Region were remanded in custody to appear later before magistrates. The four are: Mohammed Issah alias Kofi Asiamah, 45, Kwasi Beyeeden alias Kwasi Asiamah, 35, Eric Yaw Ansah, 24 and Ben Larbi alias Nana Yaw, 20.
