Asante Kotoko SC have reached an agreement with AshantiGold SC for midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
Anabila has been a key target for the Porcupine Warriors in the past years with head coach Maxwell Konadu keen on landing the talented player.
Asante Kotoko will pay US$15,000 for the services of the lanky midfielder after two teams reached agreement on Saturday following fruitful negotiations.
Anabila was part of the Ghana squad that finished as runners-up at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Sengal where Konadu was also the head coach.
The former New Edubiase United youngster has been a impressive for the Obuasi lads since joining in 2018.
The 23-year-old featured 14 times for AshantiGold in the Ghana top-flight this season.
Anabila was Ghana Premier League discovery player of the year in 2017.
