Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has disclosed that the Porcupine Warriors are still in talks their transfer targets in the on-going transfer window.
The Reds have been active in the transfer so far, having already signed two players including Nkoranza Warriors duo Emmanuel Sarkodie and Kwame Opoku who both sealed three year deals.
Coach Konadu wants to strengthen his squad ahead of the second of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season as they lie currently on the 3rd position with 25 points, just three points adrift leaders Aduana Stars.
According to the 47-year-old, the Kumasi side is still in market for reinforcements to aid their push for the league title.
"We are still in talks but once it’s not completed we can’t disclose anything. We are talking to one or two players," he told FootballMadeInGhana.
"A lot of people are speculating about players I’ve not even heard of but once it’s not done we cannot let it out. We have a lot of competitors in the system."
