Baba Mahama has been recalled back to the Asante Kotoko team after the club's management rescinded their decision to cancel his contract.
Widespread report on Friday suggests that the nimble-footed midfielder was among six other players released by the club for non-performance.
However, according to a source close to Oyerepa FM, the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei after careful deliberation has rescinded the decision by recalling the number 10 back into the team.
Saddick Adams, Eric Donkor, Seth Opare, Yakubu Mohammed, Edwin Tuffour Frimpong and Frank Sarfo Gyamfi are the players who have been told their services are no more needed.
