Anlo Traditional Council and Hogbe Institute organizing 2019 Hogbetsotso Festival have challenged 36 communities within Anglo State to use the occasion as a platform to foster unity and cohesion among indigenes.
According to Head of the University of Ghana's Department of Dance Studies Dr. Sylvanus Kwashie, the festival is anchored on the agenda to assemble cultural heritage bodies to champion the developmental goals of Anlo State.
Speaking to Class News after press briefing ahead of the festival in Accra, Dr. Kuwor revealed Asantehene Osei Tutu II will grace the occasion as a Special Guest aimed at fostering a bond of unity between Anlo State and Asante Kingdom.
The 2019 Hogbetsotso Festival slated for Saturday, 2nd November 2019 at Hogbe Park, Anloga Volta Region will be observed by 36 communities within Anglo State.
