Asokore to get a new circuit court

Asokore (Ash), May 18, GNA - The Asokore Traditional Area in the Sekyere East District of Ashanti Region would soon benefit from a 65,000 Ghana cedis circuit court. At a sword cutting ceremony to begin the construction of the court on Saturday Nana Susubiribi Krobea Asante who broke the ground, said the court would be the highest court of adjudication in the district. He said the court would also save the people from travelling to Kumasi or Kumawu to appeal against decisions of the magistrate court. Nana Susubiribi Krobea Asante expressed gratitude to the government for extending this facility to the community. Mr. Kwadwo Adae, the District Chief Executive, advised the contractor and the workers to avoid shoddy work and complete the work on time. Mr. J. B. Adade, the contractor, said it would take one- and-half-years to complete the project.
