The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Kwabre West, Mr William Aidoo, has cautioned members of the party against politics of insults and acrimony against their political opponents.

He advised NPP members to rather engage in clean and issues-based campaign to win more voters for the party ahead of the Election 2012.

Mr Aidoo was speaking at the launch of a prayer session by the Afrancho Zone of the party at Afrancho in the Afigya-Kwabre District.

He said the current socio-economic hardships facing the nation presented a good opportunity for the NPP to sell its’ well-thought out policies and programmes and highlight the achievements of the Kufuor Administration.

Mr Aidoo asked party members to help the electorate to appreciate the need to return NPP to power.

He called for party unity to assure victory for the NPP in 2012.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, NPP Kwabre West Constituency Chairman, asked voters not to repeat the mistake they made in the last general elections.

He accused the NDC of bad governance and asked the people to vote the party out of power.

Odeneho Appiah said the NPP was the only party with the right policies and programmes to bring progress to the country.
