The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, who has been recounting the assassination attempt on his life last Saturday in Kumasi when he visited his alma mater, TI Ahmadiyya Secondary School for its 70th anniversary, claims the attack relates to his political prophecies.

He added that aside his political prophesies which have always gone against the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he is not involved in any grievous case to warrant the attempt against his life.

“Inasmuch as I don’t want to make it political, but if I think of the prophecies I have received from colleague pastors which some people are saying that if they don’t take my life, they won’t be able to come to power and that it was through me that God brought NPP into power and God is going to retain the NPP in power in 2020, I am tempted to think in that direction,” he claimed.

“The prophecies I have received so far from Prophet Amoako Atta, one from Kumasi and also from the USA, all talked about the same thing that some people want to take my life and so my mind is in one place. I don’t have any issue with anybody, I have not taken anybody’s money and I don’t have any land litigation with anybody to draw a conclusion that I might have offended somebody to necessitate this attack on me”, he insisted.

To him, he cannot recall having any sharp disagreement with anyone to warrant this attack on his life and thus pleaded with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and other security agencies to get to the bottom of the matter since this is not the first attempt on his life

Rev. Owusu Bempah, however, described the attack on him last Saturday as “no joke”; narrating that “it is like watching a movie and so I asked myself whether the attack on me is real or a dream while bullets were fired randomly at my car”.
