Besease (Ashanti Region), 30, Sept. The Ejisu-Juaben District Assembly has completed classroom blocks for three basic schools at a total cost of 144 million cedis. The six-classroomed blocks, with an office and store each, and located at Besease, Asotwe and Akrofonso, were financed through the assembly's share of the Common Fund. Miss Rose Oteng, the District Chief Executive (DCE), during an inspection of the projects, called on parents and community leaders to ensure that all children of school-going age were enroled. She said the huge resources being injected into education by the assembly in terms of improving existing school blocks and building new ones would be a waste if children did not attend school. Miss Oteng assured communities in the area of the determination of the assembly to assist those who undertake self-help projects.
