Ahunabobrim Nana Prah Agyensaim VI, the chief of Assin Kushea, has urged businesses in Ghana to deepen their commitment to the communities in which they operate, emphasizing the role of corporate social responsibility in nation-building.

Speaking as the special guest of honour at Jonmoore International Limited's 25th-anniversary celebration, the esteemed traditional leader, known in private life as Wellington E. Jonah, highlighted the importance of businesses giving back to society.

"Success is not solely measured by business achievements but also by the contributions made to the community," Nana Prah Agyensaim VI said.

"This commitment to giving back and fostering social betterment is a testament to Jonmoore's holistic approach to excellence,” he added while addressing the gathering on September 25, 2024 in Accra.

Jonmoore International Limited, a leading project logistics company in Ghana, celebrated its 25th anniversary under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Hilton John Mitchell.

The event saw the recognition of employees who have significantly contributed to the company’s success, with special awards presented to long-serving staff, including Iddrissu Haruna, the longest-serving employee.

Genevieve Abakah Gyan, the company's Commercial Manager, reflected on Jonmoore's journey over the past 25 years, noting their remarkable achievements and future goals.

"We have come a long way. Over the next few years, we aim to expand into new West African markets where we haven't ventured yet."

Gabriel Amoh, Jonmoore's Commercial and Supply Chain Engineer, acknowledged the challenges the company has faced but expressed optimism about future opportunities.

“The last five years have seen us entering the oil and gas sector. We are currently exploring projects in Senegal, and there are many discoveries happening across the West African coast that we are looking to tap into.”

Jonmoore International’s 25th-anniversary celebration not only recognized its achievements but also reinforced its commitment to driving economic growth while fostering stronger ties with local communities.
