Assin Manso (C/R), May 13, GNA - Professor Dominic Fobih, Minister of Education, Science and Sports on Monday performed a ground breaking ceremony to commence work on a three-story block for Assin Manso Senior High School. The 18-unit block project is being financed from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). Prof. Fobih said effort was being made to upgrade the infrastructure in the school to increase student's intake and minimize the frustrations that guardians and parents of Junior High Schools students encountered in respect to the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (DCSSPS) every year. The Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Assin South, appealed to the project contractor to execute the job within the set time, since the classrooms were urgently needed. He, however, cautioned that, whilst timely delivery was essence, quality work should not be sacrificed. Nana Ato Arthur, Central Regional Minister urged students to take advantage of the facilities when completed to enhance their performance.
