Atletico Madrid is set to offer Thomas Partey a new deal worth €79,000 a week to ward off interest from Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window.
The Ghanaian International has been a summer transfer target for both Arsenal and Manchester United.
Partey currently has a £45million release clause in his contract with his deal expiring in 2023.
Atletico Madrid have tabled in a new offer for the Black Stars midfielder which will see his release clause rise up to €93 million according to reports in Spain.
The deal is yet to be signed by both parties but Atletico Madrid hope they can keep their star midfielder beyond 2023 should he sign the deal.
Atletico Madrid have confirmed there have been interests from English clubs for their star midfielder and the player is also open to talks with interested clubs.
Partey has been a vital part of Diego Simeone's plans this season making 24 LaLiga appearances and eight in the Champions League in the 2019/20 season.
