NDC Presidential Candidate, John Evans Atta Mills, today paid a courtesy call on Mr. Ibrahim Awal, the newly appointed Managing Director of the Graphic Communications Group Ltd.
The NDC Presidential Candidate congratulated the new MD on his elevation and said that it was by dint of hard work that Mr. Awal, who started as a reporter some 25+ years ago, has risen through the ranks to the topmost position in the organization.
John Atta Mills who was guided around the organization by Mr. Albert Sam, the Public Affairs Manager, interacted with staff of the various departments and commended them for the effort they have put in to make Graphic reached its present heights.
?Graphic is like the Koran or Bible to lots of Ghanaians and I want to thank you for the part that you are playing in giving the corporation such and enviable reputation? the NDC Presidential Candidate said.
On his part, Mr. Awal thanked John Atta Mills for taking time off his busy schedule to visit and offer words of encouragement and assured the NDC Presidential Candidate Graphic will continue to serve Ghanaians to the best of its abilities and in the interest of the onward march of the nation.
John Atta Mills was accompanied by party chairman, Dr. Kwabena Adjei, his Chief of Staff, Antwi Boasiako-Sekyere and Koku Anyidoho who is in charge of the Presidential Candidate?s communications outfit.
Mr. Awal, who took over from Mr. Berefi Apenteng in May this year, was the General Manager of the Marketing and Public Affairs Department before his elevation.
