Steve Atubiga with his newly born baby
Former NDC Flagbearer hopeful, Steven Atubiga has revealed in an interesting post on his facebook wall, how his multitasking abilities miraculously helped save his baby and wife’s lives Monday May 20th, 2019.
He narrated how he had to rush home after receiving an urgent call about his pregnant wife’s unwellness.
Per the account, he decided to rush her to the hospital after getting home and analysing the situation. He however had to take a risky decision halfway to the hospital to deliver the baby who was coming out of his wife who was in the backseat while he was driving.
“On our way to the hospital, she was so much in pain, all I heard was her scream that the baby was coming, wow, I tried speeding while I made her relax at the back seat.
4:20pm, I saw the baby coming out, I said God help us, God help us. I used my right hand to hold the baby as it came out while driving with the left hand.
With God’s help, the baby came out smoothly, I made mum hold the baby while I was hitting pot holes, speeding just to get to the hospital quickly to make sure mum and baby were both fine”, he said.
The happy father confirmed that both baby and mother are fine.
