Nyinahin (Ash), Jan 3, GNA - The Atwima-Mponua constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have commended Mr Issac Kwame Asiamah, the Member of Parliament for the area for his devotion to duty and commitment. to duty and. The MP was also praised for his regular interactions with the people as well as his support to brilliant but needy pupils and students in his constituency. The commendation was made at an end-of-year get-together for party members at Nyinahin on Monday.
Speaking at the function, Mr Kwame Owusu, the constituency assistant secretary, said the MP through his share of the common fund has provided building materials to some communities to complete their development projects whiles also providing dual desks, school uniforms and exercise books to schools to improve the standard of education in the constituency. The MP called on party members to solidly rally behind the party and campaign for more members to enable the NPP retain power in the 2008 general elections. Mr Asiamah told the members to close their ranks and forge ahead together to build a formidable party in the area.
