Awate Todzi (V/R), May 9, GNA - Mr Francis Ganyaglo, the Kpando District Chief Executive, has inaugurated a computer laboratory at Awate Todzi in the Kpando District.

The facility, costing 70,000 Ghana cedis, was built in memory of the late Mr Christian Kutorse and funded by the Kutorse Family of Awate Todzi, would be known as the Christian Kutorse ICT Learning Centre.

Mr Ganyago appealed to pupils in the community to take their studies seriously in order to justify the huge investment made in their education by their parents.

Mr Eric Seddy Kutorse, Chief Executive Officer of First Sky Limited, the spokesperson for the Kutorse Family, said it was regrettable that over the years, pupils in the area had been denied computer education.

He expressed the hope that the centre would lay a solid foundation for school children in the community. Mr Robert Nelson Amoo, Headmaster of Awate Todzi Basic School, said computer education in an ICT driven economy was indispensable.

He urged the pupils to learn hard in order to grow into responsible adults.
