BECE candidates urged to desist from exam malpractices

Tarkwa (W/R) April 21, GNA - Candidates for this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency have been advised to put their trust in God and desist from malpractices during this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The call was made by the MP for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, Hon Gifty Eugenia Kusi in a press release. Mrs Kusi, who is the Second Deputy Minority Chief Whip in Parliament, advised the candidates to be bold and adhere to the rules and regulations of the examinations.

She asked them to concentrate on what they had been taught by their teachers and not listen to their friends or anybody who would approach them with fake examination questions.

Mrs Kusi advised the candidates to listen attentively and obey instructions by the invigilators but avoid taking "foreign materials" into the examination halls to prevent the cancellation of their papers. The MP urged all school children, especially girls in the Constituency, to take their studies seriously to become successful in the future, saying, "Listen to your teachers and take an active interest in extra curricula activities and also cultivate the habit of reading".
