Accra, Aug.7, GNA - Mr Alban Bagbin, Minority Leader, on Thursday, expressed his gratitude to Ghanaians for their solidarity and concern after he survived a motor accident.
"Some only get paid back in tributes after they are gone. I am lucky to have survived to witness all this goodwill and show of love." In a statement released under his hand, he said:"Without exception, you all literally flooded my office and jammed my phone lines with messages of goodwill and words of encouragement after my narrow escape from the jaws of death on my way to my constituency.
"Together with you we will soldier on until Ghana becomes the best place on earth to be. And so from the bottom of our hearts, my family and I, we thank you."
The Minority Leader's vehicle veered of the road and somersaulted when he tried to avoid knocking down a dog while on his way to inaugurate a virgins' club in his constituency, Ndowli North in the Upper West Region.
