Ban to be lifted June 4

The Ga Traditional Council has announced that the ban on drumming and noise-making will be lifted on June 4, 2009. It said that would be followed by the celebration of the traditional Odadao on the same day at 5pm.

It said that would be followed by the celebration of the traditional Odadao on the same day at 5pm. A statement signed by the Registrar for the traditional council, Mr. E.T. Addoquaye, said the Homowo celebration would take place as follows: Nungua, July 4; Lante Djan We, July 25; Ga Mashie, August 8; Tema, August 14. The rest are Osu, La, Teshie and Kpone, August 14, and Pampram and Ningo, August 18.
