Barimaba aka Evion, nephew of Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu celebrated his graduation in style. Family and friends and school mates from Temple University came in their numbers to celebrate the great occasion. The event occurred at the Kahler Hall in Columbia on Saturday 28th and was hosted by Mr. Maxwell Prempeh, a business executive and a community leader. Mr. Prempeh introduced Barimaba and congratulated him on his achievement. He stressed Barimaba?s determination and dedication to study and earned a college degree.
Lookng a little nervous, Barimaba was asked to offer a brief remark. He offered his sincere thanks to his family including his elder brother who became a role model in his life and assisted him during his studies.
In his closing remarks, he made an interesting and a valuable statement which touched everyone, ?in life no one should allow anyone to determine one?s maximum potential because we all have unique talent or gift. It is up to the individual to expose this God given gift. Also it may take a long time to achieve one?s goal or objective however little things that we do in strategic places create a big impact at the end?.
At Temple University, Barimaba held key positions including; President, Organization of African Student, Secretary, American Marketing Association and Member, Toast master.
Present were; NPP Presidential aspirant, Dr. Atta Kennedy who came with his team of advisers, the well known physician, Dr. Osei Yaw and retailer, Akosah.
