During a vibrant durbar at Agric Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, the Agric Nzemahene, praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, highlighting the Vice President’s humility and unblemished reputation as assets that could propel him to the presidency in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to an enthusiastic audience, Nana Ayeboafo emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s integrity and unwavering dedication to Ghanaian development make him a natural choice for continued leadership.
“We need a leader with a clean record and humility,” Nana Ayeboafo said, stressing that Bawumia is the only Vice President in recent memory unmarked by scandal.
He encouraged Ghanaians to recognise Bawumia’s distinct qualities by turning out in significant numbers to vote in his favour.
“We have seen what he can do, and I know he will continue to bring development to this nation,” he added, reiterating the progress achieved under the current administration.
Nana Ayeboafo’s call for unity and mass support for Bawumia during the elections resonated with many at the durbar, with cheers and applause underscoring the community’s backing of Bawumia’s candidacy.
His endorsement, however, comes amid the Vice President’s continuous efforts to connect with grassroots communities in the Western Region and beyond.
The Vice President’s ongoing tour has focused on outlining the NPP’s vision and assuring citizens of his commitment to transformative policies, including those that bolster local economies and improve essential services.
As Nana Ayeboafo pointed out, Bawumia’s “humility and respect for the people” could distinguish him in an electoral climate often marred by contentious political rivalry.
The Nzemahene’s commendation not only signals a strong endorsement but also reflects a collective desire within the region for consistent leadership that prioritises community welfare.
