Kwabena Agyapong, a prominent figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has shared his views on Kessben FM about the increasing relevance of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, in the upcoming elections.
Agyapong expressed confidence in Bawumia’s leadership, highlighting his ability to relate to Ghanaians from all walks of life, which is a key strength in his presidential bid.
According to Agyapong, Bawumia’s extensive outreach efforts have allowed him to connect with citizens across the country.
“Dr. Bawumia has been to all 16 regions of Ghana, meeting people in their communities, listening to their concerns, and understanding their aspirations,” Agyapong noted.
He further emphasised that Bawumia’s approach is about campaigning and genuinely engaging with Ghanaians to address their daily struggles and needs.
Agyapong also spoke on the significance of Bawumia’s manifesto, which he believes is specifically designed to tackle the pressing challenges facing Ghanaians.
“His manifesto speaks directly to the issues affecting ordinary Ghanaians.
It’s a plan focused on creating hope and ensuring that the country moves forward in a way that benefits everyone, not just the elite,” Agyapong explained.
He also pointed out that Bawumia’s messages during campaign rallies have been well received, as they address the real concerns of the populace.
In addition, Agyapong strongly asserted that Bawumia has the capability to lead the country and fulfil the aspirations of its citizens.
“Dr. Bawumia understands the struggles of Ghanaians, and I believe he is the right person to take us forward.
“His policies, his leadership style, and his genuine connection with the people make him the best candidate for the presidency,” he said confidently.
