Newly enrolled students of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) have been challenged by Director of Academic Affairs of the college, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso to be academically diligent, enthusiastic, and dedicate their attention towards achieving the best.
Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso was speaking at the matriculation ceremony of the 2018/2019 weekend batch of students who have been admitted to offer Master of Science in Defence and International Politics (MDIP) programme at the GAFCSC.
“Be, therefore, assured that the college is positioned to offer you all the support you require to succeed in the program. We encourage you to make the best of the period you spend here away from the pleasures of the family life and work. Be enthusiastic about the course and diligently commit your heart to take the best from our training here,” he advised.
Urging the students to avoid procrastination and challenge themselves to achieve enviable academic feats, Dr. Antwi-Danso said, “Be instructed by time and avoid procrastination because time is of great essence for us here. Challenge yourself and break limitations to your academic exploits. As we hold our hands to take this journey, let us together ride on to success and uphold the image of this great institution.”
The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College is an institution set up to train selected middle level officers at the Ghana Armed Forces, other security services and qualified civilians to provide higher engagements within the national and international environment.
