Beauty Queens support Ascot School

Beauty Queens Foundation (BQF) has presented items worth thousands of Cedis to Ascot School, a basic school in Accra.

The items included boxes of Akonor mint toffees and packets of biscuits.

Founding president of BQF Madam Afua Asantewaa Ofosu, who was in the company of other beauty queens pointed out that “This is our core responsibility, that is reaching out to support, particularly women and children.

“It is approaching Christmas so we thought it prudent to put a smile on the faces of our little dear ones, hence this gesture, we hope it will put them in the festive mood well ahead of the occasion.”

Pre School Administrator of Ascot, Perpetual Ocloo expressed profuse thanks to the beauty queens for the gesture saying, “We are glad for this gesture, as you can see the kids were happy when they saw you discharging the items, that alone is enough for them. We are indeed grateful.”

The donation was supported by Royal Sweets, EMCEE Solutions Limited, Blue Cloud Networks and Top Kings Estate Limited.

Earlier, BQF made a similar donation to Abibiman School Complex (Pokuase) after which head of the school Mr Moses WO Ansah thanked the donors for the gesture.
