Barely six months of Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration, former District Chief Executive for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region Yamoah Ponkoh cannot cope with the heat of being in opposition.

He lamented that with the rich experience and knowledge in governance possessed by the members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the likes of Asiedu Nketiah have been nipped in the bud due to opposition.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Yamoah Ponkoh averred the NDC has the qualified men, energy and the experienced to help the country but has to stay back and watch the poor performance of Akufo- Addo’s government within six months.

“There is heat in opposition. It is not a good place and it is not a good thing to experience. The issue is that inasmuch as you have a good will, energy and the experienced men to help your country you cannot do it because of opposition,” he lamented.

He stressed “with a great mind and in-depth knowledge in politics like Asiedu Nketiah has been stuck at the gate due to politics."

Meanwhile, those in the field of play are performing poorly and good players like Asiedu Nketiah and the NDC cannot come in to help. How can opposition be a good thing or a place to be?”

He insisted that Ghana would have been better under NDC except that the nature of the game cannot allow the NDC to do anything to help.
