Benz bus collides with tipper truck

A Mercedes Benz bus carrying some passengers has been involved in an accident at Atinga Junction, Ahodwo, in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 23 February 2018 after the bus collided with a tipper truck.

Adehye FM’s Obaa Adwo Nelson who was at the accident scene reported that all the passengers in the sprinter bus escaped unhurt.

However, the driver of the tipper truck and his mate were trapped in the truck after it somersaulted.

The Police were at the scene to control traffic and to help in rescue efforts.
