Bernard Mensah provides an assist in Al Riyadh's comeback win against Al-Raed

Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah played a pivotal role in Al Riyadh's 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League.

The match, held at the Al Raed Club Stadium, saw Mensah assist in the equalizing goal, which set the stage for a dramatic comeback.

Despite going down to 10 men after Oumar Gonzalez received a red card in the 27th minute, Al-Raed took the lead in the 71st minute with a goal from Amir Sayoud.

However, Al Riyadh responded strongly, with Faïz Selemani equalizing in the 80th minute, thanks to a precise cross from Mensah. The match reached its climax in stoppage time when Mohamed Konaté headed in the winning goal, securing a vital three points for Al Riyadh.

Mensah's consistent performances have been a highlight this season, with the Ghanaian international already recording one goal and two assists in just four matches. Al Riyadh now shifts focus to their King's Cup clash against Al Safa on September 25th.
