Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil's tenth goal in the MLS makes LA Galaxy the first club in the history of the league to have four players with ten or more goals in a single season.
Paintsil joined Dejan Joveljić (14 goals, 5 assists), Gabriel Pec (13 goals, 12 assists), and Riqui Puig (11 goals, 14 assists) as players with double digits at LA Galaxy this season.
The Black Stars forward has now contributed 20 goals in the league, with ten coming in the form of assists.
"I think kudos to the technical team. Kudos to everyone involved in bringing us together as a team. We didn't do it alone, even though it was me, Riqui (Puig), and the rest. We did it as a team," said Paintsil after the game.
"It's really an amazing thing that the four of us have ten-plus goals. It's a plus for us and for the team. It will also give us the confidence to do even more and to write our names in the history book of LA Galaxy at the end of the season.
"That's what we always try to manifest and make happen. Everyone wants to write his name in the book of LA Galaxy at the end of this season."
LA Galaxy sit at the top of the Western Conference table and have already clinched their place in the playoffs.
