Mbawuni thanked UCE Business School for their support and encouragement and commented: "winning this prize gives me a sense of excitement and pride. It has motivated me to work harder for my PhD."

3b's Annual Awards and Business Dinner was attended by over 400 local business people and civic dignitaries promoting inner city Birmingham for inward investment and a place for doing business.

3b operates a Minority Business Development Centre (MBDC) which focuses on addressing the specific requirements of existing African Caribbean owned businesses in Birmingham as well as developing new and innovative business support services and programmes for minority entrepreneurs.

UCE Business School would like to congratulate all winners and wishes Joseph Mbawuni the best of luck in his future career as a Finance and Administrative Director with the multi-national charity organisation London Family Ltd.
