Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Korley Klotey
Dr.Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has warned, especially residents of Klottey Korle Constituency of persons she said are soliciting for bribes and coning members of the public via social media and other platforms while purporting to be associated with her.
These fraudsters, according to her, ” are using fake Facebook accounts and other modes of communication to perpetuate their fraud.”
In a press statement copied to THE REPUBLIC, the Klottey Korle lawmaker said the conmen entice their prey by promising to help them in all manner of issues in her name.
She warned those behind the evil and criminal acts on digital platforms to desist.
Dr Zanetor also advised individuals and firms that might have fallen prey to such fraudsters to report to the appropriate authorities for action.
Some digital fraudsters have been downloading pictures from her official Facebook page and using them to lure unsuspecting Ghanaians into their con trap.

DR. ZANETOR AGYEMAN-RAWLINGS WARNS OF FRAUDSTERS USING HER NAME
It has come to the attention of this Office that some unscrupulous persons are going about, claiming to be associates of the Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, demanding various sums of money from unsuspecting well-wishers under the guise of ‘assisting’ them in various issues.
These fraudsters are using fake Facebook accounts and other modes of communication to perpetrate their fraud.
This Office would like to state for the record that; 1. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings does not demand money from anyone to offer them opportunities.
2. Staff of the office of Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings are not authorized and do not to collect monies from any person, in return for any form of support or favour.
Please note that any persons who have been victims of such criminal behaviour are encouraged to contact the appropriate authorities to have the issue investigated.
We find it rather unfortunate that there are some within our society who continue to misuse and abuse the image of hardworking and law-abiding Ghanaians to misinform and extort money from members of the public.
Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings distances herself from such behaviour and encourages the public to report any such persons to the law enforcement agencies.
