Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Presiding Bishop of Lighthouse Chapel International, on Wednesday called on Ghanaians to respect the memory of President John Evans Atta Mills as the country go through the period of mourning.
He said the demise of President Mills had thrown the entire nation into a state of sorrow.
The Bishop said president Mills was a good man and "we honour him in his death as we did during his life time."
“At this time our thoughts and hearts are with Mrs Mills, his wife, and his close family and friends. Our prayer is that the God of comfort will encourage them in his difficult time.
“We thank him for being the President who was openly and unashamedly Christian,” it added.**
