Mr Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah, District Chief Executive of the Sefwi Bodi District of the Western Region, has advised WASSCE candidates not to engage in examination malpractice .

He said it was an offence punishable by law to engage in exam malpractice.

Mr Amankwah said this when he paid a surprised visit on the final year students of Bodi Senior High School (BOSEC) to encourage them as they prepared to start their final examination.

In all 750 candidates made up of 401 girls and 349 boys would write the examination which starts throughout the country on Thursday April 5, 2018 with the English Language paper.

Mr Amankwah told the students to have confidence in themselves and with a strong will power they would succeed.

"My brothers and sisters don't fear or panic as you go to the Examination Hall tomorrow to start your papers, rather have courage and believe in yourselves that you are going to pass and I believe God on your side you will succeed," he encouraged.

He promised to visit them often during the period of their examination.

This year's WASSCE begun on Tuesday April 3, with some practical subjects, whilst the entire examination will commence on Thursday April 5 English Language papers.
