Hashtags do have incredible power in campaigns against rape
In a social media campaign against rape and other forms of sexual harassment in the country, some female social media users who have been victims of sexual assault have collectively shared their sad experiences.
The campaign which began on June 15, 2020, is currently on top of the trends online, as more rape victims publicly call out their ‘rapists’ and perpetrators of sexual violence against women in the country.
Not only women who have suffered victims of sexual harassment, but also the campaign is to also entreat men who have suffered such ordeal to voice out.
