A new Kumasi based political party, the Reformed Patriotic Democrats (RPD) has received the final certificate of registration from the Electoral Commission (EC).

The RPD is the latest political party to declare its intention to contest the December polls.

According to officals of the party, about 90 per cent of its followers come from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The founder and interim chairman of the party, Mr.Kwabena Adjei told JOYFM that RPD was ready to contest the elections and offer real change to the youth.

He said the party was “youth centred not only in age but in mind”.

“We want the youth to realise the harm the NDC and the NPP have done them” he emphasised.
