Janatil Firdaws Yakubu, the widow who lost her husband Disu Kamaru in less than an hour after their wedding ceremony on Sunday, 30 September 2018, has said she leaves everything in the hands of God.
Janatil’s fresh groom died in a ghastly accident as the newlyweds drove to their wedding reception.
She fell into a coma after the accident.
The bride-turned-instant widow has been in emotional distress since she came out of her coma.
On Friday, 5 October 2018, she told Accra-based Joy FM that despite her loss, “I’m feeling great by the grace of Allah”, adding: “I thank God for giving me my life… All that I can say is Allah knows best”.
The accident took place at Madina, Accra while on their way to the Africana Guest House near Atomic Roundabout for the reception.
