The quantum of projects embarked on by Bridge Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization in Accra has stirred its management to seek for partners.
Currently, the foundation is constructing a Junior High School classroom block, a toilet facility, tackling the h problem, and other construction projects at Kokrobite, a fishing community in Accra.
The Foundation’s vision is working for a generation of youth positively empowered by Godly character and positive habits; collaborating to make the world a sustainable and better place to live in.
It has a mission to promote human resource development; focusing on assisting disadvantaged children and young people through education, employable vocational skills training support and sports development.
The increasing number of children of school going age who are out of school, loitering around public places when they ought to be in school or with their parents, guardians, doubtlessly are reasons for the external partnership.
The children run errands and engage in wage earning activities; which are normally hazardous and strenuous for their age; pilfering, porterage, child prostitution.etc.
The Bridge Foundation runs a youth resource and training center at Roman Ridge, Accra which provides opportunities for basic literacy skills, ICT skills training, art/ craft and sports development. The center consists of Classrooms, a library, gymnasium and ICT laboratory.
Beneficiaries of our its programs include out of school children, orphaned and street children, and also those engaged or are at risk to enter into worst forms of labor.
Its thematic areas of operation are education and life skills training support; and sports development.
