CEO of Kenkey Boutique Hajia Mercy Amina Sackey who took her turn on 3FM’s Women Mean Business Show, a segment on the Sunrise Morning Show has challenged young ladies to embrace hard work.

The petty trader who has become a business giant attributed the success of her business to hard work, innovation and creativity. Speaking to Host of the Sunrise Morning Show, Winston Amoah, the woman who has taken the selling of kenkey to a different, level urged young women to avoid cutting corners to get wealth.

“Young women of today should understand that in life you have to work hard in order to make achievements, that’s how it is. “Once you have life you will suffer but there is gain in suffering. They should be helpful”. Citing the example of her daughter, Hajia said, “My daughter who works with me to sell the kenkey is a graduate.

If someone tells you she is a graduate you won’t believe it; but she is and she sells kenkey “The young ladies of today should work hard to attain what they desire, rather than cut corners, it is not helpful. They want to have money without working but that has its own implications.”
