Wassa East District is among the eleven out of 23 districts in Western Region where CHRAJ have operational Offices.
In 2018 performance review, under the new administration of Paul Arthur as Wassa East CHRAJ District Director, Daboase has moved up from the 11th to 3rd best performing District.
In an exclusive interview with Skyy Power fm, Paul Arthur revealed that he was motivated by the passion of Hon Wilson Arthur and new vision to make Wassa East a model district known for responsive public services.
Paul Arthur says he is happy with the cooperation and encouraging support he received from the DCE.
On how the team made this leap, Paul said out of the record 65 Cases received, only 8 is left to be resolved as compered to the past where average cases handled per annum was only 25.
"It took 48 outreach sensitization campaign in Schools and Churches to increase awareness and interest to get so many cases sent to Daboase. ‘In the Schools, we took pupils and Teachers through anti corruption laws and in the churches we treated Interstate Succession Law, PNDC law 111 and Wills Act 360". Mr Arthur stated
Some communities covered included Timtimhwe, Mpraem, Adiembra, Sekyere Krobo, Sekyere Nsuta, Aboaboso, Kwabaa inter Alia.
The Hon DCE of Wassa East also expressed appreciation for the team spirit of Daboase CHRAJ and promised them better cooperation in 2019 so they could perform best.
