Kumasi Feb 7, GNA -The Cocoa Processing Company (CPC), says it has made available, enough chocolate and cocoa products on the market for the public to enjoy during the Cocoa Day celebrations (Valentine Day), which falls on February 14th.

Mr Peter Apeaning, Ashanti Regional Manager of the Company, who made this known in Kumasi, said adequate supply of different kinds and brands of cocoa products and chocolate had been supplied to supermarkets and trading outlets in the Kumasi Metropolis as well as the Sunyani municipality to ensure that more people had access to the product during the day.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, Mr Apeaning said the company had also embarked on a special exercise at its premises in the COCOBOD Jubilee house in Adum-Kumasi, by displaying its products for those who throng the banks and other offices in the building to patronize them.

He said special gift packs had also been made available as presents for relatives and loved ones during the Valentine's Day. Mr Apeaning said cocoa products have high nutritional value and that it helps to suppress heart and cardio-vascular diseases among people.
