Position Summary:

Superweb Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Journalist to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.

As a Senior Journalist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing impactful stories, overseeing content quality, and contributing to our editorial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit compelling articles, features, and reports.

• Ensure all content aligns with journalistic ethics, accuracy, and editorial standards.

• Collaborate with editors and team members to plan and execute content strategies.

• Oversee and mentor junior journalists and contributors.

• Manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.

• Stay updated with current events, industry trends, and emerging stories.

• Utilize content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools for efficient content delivery.

• Optimize content for SEO and ensure alignment with digital media trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a journalist, editor, or similar role in a newsroom or media organization.

• Exceptional editing, proofreading, and writing skills.

• Strong knowledge of journalistic ethics and practices.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of SEO and digital media trends is an added advantage.
