Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative front- end developer to join our dynamic media and advertising team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing visually appealing and user-friendly web applications that effectively showcase our clients’ brands.
You will work closely with the IT, commercial and editorial team to create seamless user experiences that engage and inspire.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the IT, commercial and editorial team to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive web applications.
2. Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth experience across various devices and browsers.
4. Implement best practices for front-end development, including code versioning and documentation.
5. Troubleshoot and debug applications, resolving any issues that arise.
6. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a front-end developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications and projects.
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in at least one modern JavaScript framework.
4. Familiarity with responsive design principles and front-end development tools.
5. Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic back-end technologies.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
8. Experience in the media and advertising industry is a plus.
