Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Superweb Technologies Limited. This role is ideal for a passionate storyteller who can engage audiences through compelling multimedia content.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on producing high-quality articles, videos, and social media content that highlights the vibrant culture, people, and current events in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, write, and produce engaging articles, videos, and social media posts that resonate with our audience and reflect the diverse narratives of Nigeria.
2. Conduct thorough research and interviews to gather accurate information for stories, ensuring a high standard of journalistic integrity.
3. Utilize various social media platforms to promote content, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to the MyNigeria platform.
4. Work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to enhance the visual and narrative quality of content.
5. Keep abreast of current events, trends, and issues affecting Nigeria to ensure timely and relevant reporting.
6. Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to optimize future content strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in online journalism or multimedia content creation.
4. Proficient in multimedia editing software and content management systems (CMS).
5. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media engagement.
6. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of Nigerian culture, politics, and current affairs is highly desirable.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
