Cardiac and kidney treatment in the offing

Mab International Hospital in Accra in partnership with Apollo Hospital of India would offer treatment to patients with cardiac and kidney problems at a two-day health camp at Nyamekye near Darkuman in Accra.

The programme, which begins on June 26 to June 27, would have world renowned specialist consultants in cardiology, nephrology, neurology, kidney transplant and oncology being around to treat patients.

Dr Jacob Akuamoah-Boateng, Chief Executive Officer of Mab International Hospital made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra.

He said the programme is aimed at bringing affordable, but quality healthcare delivery to the doorsteps of Ghanaians as part of the hospital’s mission.

“The healthcare delivery that could be accessed outside Ghana would be at the reach of Ghanaians during the programme,” he said.

The Chief Executive said there would be exchange of medical knowledge and expertise between specialists from Mab International Hospital and Apollo Hospital of India.

He explained that the Mab International Hospital has partnered the Apollo Group because of their trusted healthcare delivery in India and even across Asia.

The Group provides high quality treatment with the latest technology and excellent clinical success at appreciable low cost as compared to the Western world.

Dr Akuamoah-Boateng who is the Proprietor of the Mab International Hospital and Mab Medicare Centre said his facility would be a centre of excellence with very affordable healthcare services.

He urged Ghanaians to be extra cautious of what they eat and drink to avoid contracting dangerous diseases, and should always eat fruits and vegetables and exercise regularly to maintain good health.
