The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said former Chairman of the Confiscated Vehicles Committee and an activist of the party, Carl Wilson is not worthy of a response from the party following his allegations against the NDC’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

Mr Wilson who was sacked from his position by President Atta Mills in 2010 following numerous allegations of corruption in his management of confiscated cars, has revealed that the NDC NEC wanted him jailed because he stepped on the toes of powerful but very corrupt party heavy weights.

Carl Wilson who said he jealously ensured that monies meant for the state was not diverted into private pocket while he worked at the Tema Port said, the NEC Members asked President Mills to punish him because he prevented these party bigwigs from benefiting from the corruption at the Port.

He has now announced the formation of a new political movement – Move Ghana which among its aims is to canvass for nationwide support against the current system of the country’s politics in a bid to oust his former party from government, as well as preventing the largest opposition NPP from tasting power in this year’s elections.

But speaking on Accra based Neat FM, National Organizer of the NDC; Kofi Adams stated that the he and the NDC will not glorify his spurious allegation with a response as he’s undeserving of that.

“I have 24 hours in a day, out of that I need to use 8 hours to sleep but due to my heavy work schedule, I end up sleeping for about three or four hours. I’m not sure that Carl Wilson is one of the issues that I should waste the 24 hours given to me by God to discuss. It doesn’t matter if he ever worked in the office of the President.

“Why should the NDC be wasting our time on such a person? May be instead, I will spend that time to go to Pantang and visit the patients who are going through rehabilitation, it will seriously be better for me,” Kofi Adams fumed.
