Tema West MP, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah
Minister of Communications and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has expressed sympathies for fellow MP Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah following his resignation from government.
Mr Ahenkorah, who represents Tema West Constituency in Parliament, succumbed to public pressure by tendering in his resignation letter on Friday for flouting Covid-19 quarantine protocols.

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry visited some registration centres in his constituency at the start of the voter registration exercise despite having tested positive for coronavirus.
He had to even go for an overnight review at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and was discharged Thursday morning.
Many including his party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) condemned his action.
But Mr Owusu-Ekuful is of the opinion that Mr Ahenkorah should rather be applauded for his decision to resign instead of being condemned.
“We must respect and applaud him.”
She said it is very rare to have people acknowledging their mistakes and resigning to boot.
She dismissed calls that further sanctions should be meted out to the Tema West MP, saying he flouted no rules.
