As the Yuletide season begins, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has wished all Ghanaians well as they prepare to celebrate it.
He, however urged voters not to easily forget the hardship the National Democratic Congress has put the entire nation through as we near the next general elections.
He added that had the NPP been in power under the leadership of Nana Akufo- Addo, the aura surrounding Christmas in Ghana would have been different compared to the “dry one" we are currently experiencing.
In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Wontumi, urged Ghanaians to be grateful to God and bear in mind that had it not been for His mercies, the NDC would have killed us all before He returns for the second time.
Just like Satan comes to steal and kill, Chairman Wontumi stated that the NDC has stolen the taxpayer’s money and in return, killed several businesses through ‘dumsor’.
“The unpredictable power outages have killed so many businesses and some have lost their jobs as a result of that. The dollar went up as against the cedi and traders felt the hardship. Within this same year (2014), the SNNIT contributions of works were used for useless things by this government”, he said.
He ended by wishing all executives of the NPP and the entire members a Merry Christmas. He also extended his seasonal greeting all Ghanaians.
